Beach Barber Tract

Straddling La Jolla Boulevard and bisected by Nautilus Street, two of La Jolla’s main arteries, is one of La Jolla’s most colorful and varied neighborhoods.  The famed surfing beach, Windansea Beach, immortalized in Tom Wolfe’s The Pump House Gang, is frequented by natives and visitors alike.  Much of the Beach-Barber Tract is within easy walking distance of The Village, and there is good public transportation available to all residents.  There are condominiums, duplexes, apartments, and stylish single-family homes – not to mention some luxurious oceanfront homes.  You’ll also find a handful of post World War II cottages with what appear to be thatched roofs.  Home to many of La Jolla’s historic homes and carefully tended gardens, the Beach-Barber Tract is special.
