Karen Roque – Office Manager and Escrow Coordinator

As Office Manager and Escrow Coordinator for Team  Chodorow, Karen oversees all aspects of our TEAM operations and has a passion for organization.  Karen has been active in the San Diego real estate  market since 2015. A supporter of local charities, Karen enjoys coordinating charity events. In her free time Karen also enjoys yoga and running.

Kate Evans – Marketing Director & Listing Coordinator

Kate grew up in Baltimore, Maryland before attending the University of Tampa on a soccer scholarship. She      graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and  Public Relations with a concentration in design. After working for several years in the advertising industry for one the nation’s largest home builders, she functions as our marketing director and listing coordinator, handling our listings before they go onto escrow. Outside of the office, Kate enjoys playing soccer, volleyball and spending time at the beach.

Nathan Cho – Weekend Coordinator

As a San Diego native, Nathan has been a part of Team Chodorow since 2016. As Weekend Office Coordinator, Nathan oversees all weekend operations and helps manage client showings and open houses. Nathan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Business Communication from San Diego State University, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf and basketball, and reading in his free time. He is also a supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and an Executive Member of The Dignified Learning Project. Nathan plans to further his career as an effective member of Team Chodorow, and values personable relationships and professionalism as integral pieces to the Team’s success.

Maryl Weightman – Agent

Maryl Weightman grew up in Texas and attended Texas Christian University. From living in La Jolla for the past 24 years, Maryl developed a detailed understanding of the community. She began her career in corporate sales and real estate development, where she developed exceptional negotiating skills and a talent for analyzing the potential for specific properties to appreciate in value. Maryl is a member of St. James-By-the-Sea, where she serves on the Real Estate and Health Ministries committees, Altar Guild and Daughters of the King.

Monica Leschick – Agent

Monica Leschick grew up in La Jolla and graduated with honors from UCSD with a BA in Communication. She has a Master’s in Education from UCSD as well. Raised by parents who owned an art gallery on Prospect Street, Monica has a deep appreciation for art and culture. She has studied in Spain and lived in Paris. Her professional experience includes sales, business management, marketing and advertising, as well as freelance writing for San Diego Metropolitan Magazine and North Park News. Monica has an extensive background in sales management and client relations, where she excelled as a result of listening carefully to clients and using effective communication and negotiation skills, qualities that are certain to provide her clients a significant advantage.
